Central Promotion Department and CR Jointly Release Advanced Deeds of “Most Beautiful Railway Workers” in 2023

    The Central Promotion Department and CR publicly released the advanced deeds of the “Most Beautiful Railway Workers” in 2023 to the entire society on January 23, in order to deeply study and promote Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit brought forward during the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The aim is to earnestly implement President Xi Jinping’s important instructions and guidance on railway work, to actively practice the core socialist values and the principle of “Railways for the People,” to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship, and to inspire railway officials and workers to unite and strive, work hard, and to propel the railway to serve as the “locomotive” for China’s modernization.

　　The “Shining Names – 2023 Most Beautiful Railway Workers Award Ceremony” was held at the China Media Group. The ceremony featured the screening of video clips showcasing the advanced deeds, values, and insights into the work and life of the “Most Beautiful Railway Workers” of 2023 from various perspectives. It demonstrated the exemplary style, service essence, sense of responsibility, and spirit of hard work of railway workers in the new era. Officials from the Central Promotion Department and CR presented them with certificates of honor.

　　Since 2018, the Central Promotion Department and CR have conducted the “Most Beautiful Railway Workers” selection for six consecutive years. This activity has become an important platform to inspire railway officials and workers to advance into a new journey and make contributions in the new era. It has also become a crucial window for various sectors of society to understand and support the railways, creating a positive impact both within and outside the railway industry.
