The 2024 Spring Festival Travel Rush will commence on January 26 and conclude on March 5, spanning 40 days. Data from the Ministry of Transport indicates that the operational passenger volume of railways, highways, waterways, and civil aviation during this year’s Spring Festival is expected to reach 1.8 billion, with approximately 7.2 billion self-driving travelers.

　　In Beijing, to better serve the flow of Spring Festival travelers, Beijing Railway Station has increased its entrance channel organization, adding 10 security check channels and 14 manual check channels. Additionally, in the case of high passenger flow, an emergency passenger channel is opened on the west side of the entrance. At Beijingxi Railway Station, the ticket hall has set up a “Beijing Railway Love for the Elderly” window, providing services such as ticket purchasing, inquiries, and assistance with 12306 website registration for senior citizens. In Henan, Zhengzhoudong Railway Station utilizes the “Sky Eye” system, allowing real-time monitoring of passenger safety and staff operations. The system can identify abnormal movements of personnel on-site, issue timely warnings, and mark individuals running within the station to ensure passenger safety.
